What We Do

Deft uses insights from its immersive learning experiences to define clinical excellence and provide personalised education. By addressing weaknesses and guiding mastery, we help healthcare professionals improve their skills where it matters most.

The first Deft module, developed as part of an NHS trial, tackles the alarming 11% missed cancer rate in upper GI endoscopy. This supports endoscopists in detecting high-risk pre-malignant and early malignant oesophageal and gastric diseases, aiming to improve real-world outcomes.

Deft is also growing its reach. In gastroenterology, new modules are in development for colonic lesion detection and resection, as well as endoscopic ultrasound. Beyond this, Deft is expanding into other medical fields, starting with cardiology.

We are committed to producing meaningful data to demonstrate the impact our immersive experiences have on clinical outcomes.
