Designed in collaboration with Jianan Wang at Zhejiang University hospitals Department of Cardiology, this educational VR film was created to show the clinical uses of a new synthetic aortic valves replacement for people with faulty aortic valves.
Scientifically accurate models of a human heart are combined with 360 video shot during a real heart surgery, this experience introduces both the public and medical students to the procedure.
The human heart is a complex muscular organ that pumps blood through the body’s circulatory system. The heart has four chambers and four valves that control blood flow, and it beats about 100,000 times per day to pump roughly 7,000 liters of blood. This experience allows users to learn more about the anatomy of the heart and the complexities of its functions.
